We hear a lot about charging from home these days, partly because of the newly governmental incentives!
But are all wallboxes the same? What characteristics can they have?
– Some come with a built-in cable, while others have a Type2 outlet to which the in-car charging cable can be connected.
– Some starts charging by simply plugging the connector into the car, while others require an RFID card similar to those used on public charging stations.
In addition, wallboxes can vary power output based on household availability and, some smart models, even depending on PV power generated in real time.
