I think I was charged incorrectly. What should I do?
If you believe there was a billing error, please contact Free To X customer support. We recommend having the following information ready:
• Payment receipt
• Charger serial number (code on the charger: F2XIT…)
• Date and time of charging
• Last 4 digits of your card (or the virtual card number from Apple/Google Pay)
o Apple Pay: Open the Wallet app, click on the used card, select the three-dot menu in the top right, and choose Card Number.
o Google Pay: Open the Wallet app, select the used card, click on the three-dot menu in the top right, and find the Virtual Account Number.
What if charging doesn’t start after payment went through?
• Double-check you selected the correct charger and connector.
• Make sure the cable is properly connected.
• Wait 5 minutes for the session to time out, then try again.
• If the second attempt fails, try another method (App, RFID).
• If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. On the credit card reader you can:
• Enter your phone number to receive an SMS link
• Scan the QR code
You can request the receipt before or after charging. If you forget, you can still retrieve the last 5 receipts made in the past 10 days from any credit card terminal in our charging network by tapping the same card used.
Can I request an invoice?
Yes. Same process as the receipt: via SMS link or QR code. If not requested, it can still be retrieved later using the dedicated function available at any credit card terminal in our charging network: by tapping the same credit/debit card, you can access the last 5 charging sessions made in the past 10 days with that card.
What if the POS isn’t working?
Use another payment method (App or RFID, if available) or contact customer support.
What if the cable won’t unlock from the charger or my car?
• Make sure you ended correctly the session via credit card terminal or QR code.
• Check if your car has a safety lock activated.
