How are charging connectors made?
Together with Daniele Invernizzi from Ev-Now! we went to the Brianza Nord station to take a closer look at every types of connectors on our charging points and understand how they work and which standard is the most suitable for each vehicle.
Let’s start from the HPCs, the high-power columns, where there are CCS2 connectors: this is the European DC standard capable of up to 300 kW of power output.
Also available at some of our stations are multi-standard fast charging points on which you can find both the CHAdeMO connector, capable of delivering up to 64kW of power and still found on some Japanese vehicles, and the Type2 connector, which is the standard for AC charging.
In the video Daniele tells us all the details! Enjoy!
