Braking an electric car generates energy that can be fed back to the wheels: how is this possible.<\/p>\n

One-pedal driving and regenerative braking are two distinguishing features of electric cars, which during deceleration allow some of the kinetic energy to be recovered and converted back into electrical energy, which recharges the battery.<\/p>\n

A second, fundamental consequence of this is that an electric car can essentially be driven with only one pedal – the accelerator – adjusting power and minimizing the use of the brake.
